My name is Dr. Renee, I am a mother, wife, sister, friend, coach, mentor, and academic. I have a gift and a passion for people and their personal development journey. My "why" has led me to build Clean Canvas Consulting. My deep expertise in leadership, culture and team building across multiple disciplines such as sales, strategy, operations, go to market models and reseller partnerships has sharpened my business acumen. While the bulk of my experience comes for the technology field, I also own a small business focused on organic loose leaf tea and spices. Life has allowed me to have a colorful and diverse career working across countries and cultures. These experiences add a richness to my perspective that I can't wait to share with you to help you grow.
My Story
Dr. Renee Velez Pizarro is a business undergraduate from Northeastern University specialized in Finance, and an MBA and Doctoral degree in organizational psychology specialized in Leadership from Capella University. She was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish and English.

She has extensive leadership experience with cross-functional and cross-cultural sales and operations, teams focused on building and nurturing strategic relationships with customers and partners. She has worked in numerous job functions such as marketing, operations and strategy. As a Hispanic female in technology, she values diversity and strives to build organizations that go beyond inclusion, she aims to build organizations in which everyone feels they have a voice and they truly belong.
During her own wellness and mental health journey, Dr. Renee built a specialty organic loose-leaf tea business that she uses as a platform to advocate for mindfulness. Last, but equally important Dr. Renee works tirelessly with minority owned businesses to drive financial growth and equality for future generations.
